Sri Lanka is a nation that faces many natural disasters every year. But the most fatal event took place when the Tsunami struck our beautiful shores on the 26th of December 2004. Since that day Save Lanka Communities has stood up at every opportunity to help our community and nation when ever the need arose in which ever manner. May it be land slides, floods, storms or drought we have being in the fore front and in action supporting the communities across Sri Lanka.

Safe Water Project

With the current economic and financial crisis in Sri Lanka depending into chaos, are finding ways to bring light in the darkness. Inflation is up 140% 3rd highest inflation rate in the world, fuel shortages continue, daily 5 hours+ power cuts, lack of critical medical supplies, lack of essential food and much more.

​Save Lanka Communities​

Most of us are fortunate enough to just turn on a faucet to access life’s most essential ingredient: clean water. But for many people, access to something so basic is difficult. We have being able to build tube wells in the North East of Sri Lanka and provide safe water for over 1000 people in the region.

Hope Center is a haven to most of the women from our city that are abused and struggling with life's challengers. They are able to build strong friendships and share their burdens with our counselors.

We have sowing classes and other programs for the women.

We also provide computer classes and basic English course for young girls and boys from low income families in Colombo.
